What order should I read Answered For in?
Strictly 1 → 3. Unlike Magnolia Creek, this is not a set of standalones. It is one couple across three books, and it will not make sense out of order.
Book 1 is a complete, earned happily-ever-after, with no bittersweet ending and no bait and switch. It is also the first third of one continuous story. Book 2 ends on a cliffhanger.
“Answered For” is one couple across three books: the renovation that put them in the same rooms, the woman whose name he would not say, and everything the people on this ground have refused to explain to each other.

Two minutes after her contractor’s taillights clear the drive, a thousand square feet of it goes January cold, edge to edge. You should not be here, it says, directly into her thoughts. “Then you should have locked the door.” Whatever is in that house has been there a hundred and thirty-nine years, and it is keeping very careful track of how close her contractor is standing to her.
